Cen-Tech has multiple power inverters available in varying capacities, so there are many available to fit peoples’ individual needs.

There isn’t much about Cen-Tech out there, but we’ve done the research – here’s everything you need to know.

Cen-Tech 400 Watt Power Inverter

This power inverter has a 400 watt continuous capacity. However, it does handle up to 800 watts in peak surge power, in case you have any appliances or electronics that require up to 800 watts to start. This particular inverter does look quite appealing with its red and black body and its design aesthetic. It conveniently has two AC output sockets for you so that you can directly plug in whatever you need to power. It also has a USB port for additional convenience, making it possible for you to just directly plug in your USB powered devices or chargers. This particular model is a modified sine wave inverter, making it only around 87% efficient maximum. Therefore, if you are looking for a more efficient inverter, you’ll have to look elsewhere.

This aesthetically pleasing inverter does have many different protection systems to keep the load safe, along with your appliances and electronics. For example, it does have an overload protection system in case you plug in more than this inverter can handle – something that might be easy to do considering the total power capacity of this device is only 400 watts. On top of that, you will also see other protection systems such as high voltage/low voltage protection, high temperature/low temperature protection, and high current/low current protections.

A 400 watt inverter might be enough for you if you are looking to run smaller sized appliances and electronics that are less power hungry. They are good enough to run a (really) small refrigerator, in case you are trying to power a recreational vehicle or perhaps a van that you’ve converted into your home on the road. It can also power laptops and less power-hungry computers in case you’re working from the road. An inverter like this would make it possible to travel and do freelance work at the same time. Of course, it can also power or charge other devices such as cell phones, tablets, digital cameras, small TVs and TV boxes or DVD players. On top of that, you should also be able to run some power tools in case you are using this device as backup power for your workshop.

This inverter is priced quite fairly in terms of the average market rate of 400 watt power inverters. It does tend to ride on the more affordable side, making it accessible to more people.

In our opinion this inverter is a great choice for people looking to run small recreational vehicles and the like. It’s excellent if you’re a freelancer who wants to travel in a converted van while still being able to power your daily essentials and necessities such as a laptop or your mobile devices. Additionally, you can use this to power a small fridge, so you can keep certain types of food for longer.

Chicago Electric Power Systems 750 Watt

This modified sine wave inverter is sold under the same company name as Cen-Tech. Because it’s only a modified sine wave inverter, it is only efficient up to 87 percent, similar to the above inverter we’ve mentioned. Additionally, this inverter seems to be the bigger capacity version of the above inverter, considering they both look the same in design. So if you like the aesthetics of the 400W inverter above but you want it in a higher capacity so you can run more things, this is a great option. This model is 750 watts continuous power capacity, and up to 1500 watts in peak or surge capacity.

Like its above sibling, this inverter has multiple systems of protection available to prevent damage to your appliances and devices. It has short circuit protection and overload protection. Additionally, you also get some high/low temperature protection, high/low voltage protection, and high/low current protection. It also has a USB port, and comes with two 110V AC power sockets for your complete convenience.

This 750 watt inverter can power more things – including a refrigerator and certain smaller microwaves (however you probably won’t be able to run them at the same time). It will also be able to power certain desktop computers if you wish. This is a better option if you want to be able to power more items on your RV or van.

This inverter is only slightly higher priced than the 400 watt version. We would recommend this version more if you would like to get more capacity for your money.

This inverter is affordable to many and can power many different appliances and electronics. If you’re looking for a great power source for your van or RV, we would definitely recommend this device. Plus, the aesthetics of it don’t hurt!

Cen-Tech 1500 Watt Power Inverter

Although this product is sold under the Cen-Tech brand, it’s actually a Jupiter brand power inverter. Nevertheless, because it is under the umbrella of Cen-Tech, we’ll be reviewing it regardless.

This inverter has a 1500 watt continuous capacity. This is enough to power many different appliances and devices – including a small mini-kitchen with a fridge, a microwave, and small coffee makers. It can power multiple fans and tons of lights, and can even run perhaps some smaller air conditioning units. For recreational vehicles that you want to stay in long term, a 1500 watt inverter will help to make it feel much more like home, in terms of comfort. Additionally, this inverter can surge or peak up to 3000 watts, just in case you’re plugging in some electronics that require a higher watt start.

Just like the other products on this list, this inverter does have multiple protection systems too. You will notice it has short circuit protection as well as overload protection, high/low voltage protection, high/low temp protection, and high/low current protection. It is slightly bigger, meaning it is also more heavy, but it’s still relatively portable at 5lbs. This inverter has two AC sockets and two USB ports for your convenience.

This inverter costs around the market price you would expect on average from 1500 watt power inverters. It is still affordable enough to be able to be bought by most.

This inverter comes at a good price, and does power a ton of different things you might want to help you live a comfortable life on the road. It’s great as a backup power source for your home or your small business too. We would definitely recommend it.

TNM 2000 Watt Power Inverter

Once more, this product is sold under the Cen-Tech banner but it is actually branded under TNM. This inverter is basically the highest capacity one on this list, clocking in at about 2000W continuous power. It does peak at 4000W, in case you need to plug in a device that requires a higher-watt start. Conveniently, this inverter not only has a USB port, but it also has three different AC power sockets for your use. With three power sockets, it is much easier to power multiple devices all at once. You can also choose to plug in extension cords so that you have even more sockets.

2000W is enough power to keep your small kitchen going. It will also power a computer, and even an AC unit. So if you’re looking for an inverter to help you get off the grid at least partially, this is a great option that is now available to you. There’s no doubt that if you’re using this device to power your recreational vehicle, you’ll feel right at home – especially if you use solar panels along with it.

This inverter is priced fairly and it is a good choice for those on a budget looking for higher capacity inverters.

For the price and the capacity you get, this inverter is great value for money. We do recommend it, especially if you are trying to power an RV or a small dwelling (or if you’re looking to go partially off the grid).
